Plaats

Belgium / KU Leuven

The Nothobranchius Symposium is organised every second year and serves as a platform for researchers with an interest in all aspects of Nothobranchius (killifish) biology, from biomedical to ecological research, to meet and discuss ideas. In 2023, the fifth Nothobranchius Symposium is taking place in Leuven, Belgium.
The Nothobranchius community is growing fast, as this species is short-lived and has been established as an ideal innovative model species to study the biology of aging at scale in a vertebrate context.
Our meeting welcomes abstract submission on the species in the topics of Aging biology, Genomics, Transcriptomics and Transgenesis, Proteomics, Epigenetics, Cell Biology, Diapause and Regeneration, Anatomy and Pathology, Ecotoxicology, Metabolism and Behaviour, Ecology and Evolution.
